Dublin v Wexford

Dublin’s Under 16 side had an encouraging win against Wexford on Saturday afternoon. Playing in the first half with a stiff breeze  Dublin opened the  scoring   early on with a point from team captain  and midfielder Aoife  Kelly.  Goals from forwards Ciara Berkeley and Fiona  Fogarty  before half time refleted Dublin's portion of possess  on.     The second half was more of a dogfight with Wexford's use of the wind making a serious game of it.    Dublin withstood a lot of early pressure in the second half before reasserting themselves to win. The team plays Galway at home on the 3rd  of April in the next in the  round robin series   of the All Ireland.
