Challenge Matches

If you are organising or partaking in a challenge match please adhere to the following.

1) Dublin County Board needs to be notified of all challenge matches that Dublin club teams are playing in. This is for all ages, U8 right through to Senior.

2) This aplies to Dublin club teams playing anywhere.

3) What to do: Have your club\camogie secretary notify An Rúnaí, Dublin County Board of any upcoming challenge matches. Minimum of 48hrs notice applies. Correspondence must include time\date,age grade, teams competing, venue, county (If one of the teams is from outside of Dublin or the match is to be held outside of Dublin)

4) Next: County Board will confirm that the match has been noted.

County Board may NOT approve a match if insufficient information has been supplied or if the fixture displaces a league\championship match already allocated to the date.

County Board approves matches on the basis that all players are registered & insured by their clubs.

Club insurance for players or mentors is likely to be void if the conditions are not complied with.

The matches must be refereed by a referee registered with the Camogie Association.
