Woulfe - Bereavement

(08 May 2015)

The Dublin Camogie Board extends its sympathy to the family of former Dublin GAA official Tom Woulfe.

Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael Aogán Ó Fearghail has also passed on the condolences of the GAA.

A vastly experienced administrator of long standing, Mr Woulfe served the Association over many decades.

The GAA President said: “We are saddened to hear of the passing of Tom Woulfe in what was his 100th year.

"He served the GAA in a variety of roles with distinction over a prolonged period. Some of those contributions were high profile from the floor of Congress and had a major bearing on the direction of the GAA at national level.

"Others were away from the spotlight, none moreso than his countless hours of dedication to the Civil Service Club in Dublin

“I extend my sympathies to the Woulfe family, his wide circle of friends and all who had the pleasure of interacting with Tom over his long and distinguished GAA career.”

Solas sioraí ar a anam uasal.
