Premiers make it to Croker; U16s go down to Wexford

(12 Aug 2017)

There will be at least one Dublin team in Croke Park on All-Ireland Final day following the Premier Junior side's 1-12 to 0-9 victory over Kerry at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick.  Aoife Bugler with 7 points and 1-2 from Evelyn Twomey made big contributions.  The team will play Westmeath who edged out Armagh by a single point.

The U16 side went down by three points to Wexford 2-11 to 2-8 in their All-Ireland Semi Final.  Dublin paid a heavy price a number of goal chances that went astray but they fought to the bitter end and only heroic Wexford defending denied them victory.
