U13 Development Squad:
Well done to the 130 players from 33 clubs who participated in the School of Excellence sessions over the last six weeks. The level of commitment shown, often in cold conditions, was top class and a credit to the girls, their clubs and their parents.
A panel of approximately 70 girls for summer activity will be selected before March 17 and both parents and club mentors will be notified by email.
Players who are not selected will be given more opportunities throughout the year to attend sessions for further coaching and clubs will also be given an opportunity to send out players who were not nominated for the latest series of sessions.
We will also be organising sessions to develop goalkeeping skills for all goalkeepers in this age-group and identifying some more goalkeepers to join the squad.
We look forward to continuing the development work started with this groups of players ...born 2002!
