Well done to our panel of 76 girls that took to the field on Holiday Monday in their first outing representing Dublin in St Brigids GAA – plenty of proud girls (and parents) watching the blue jerseys.
Can any child who was injured and attended the physio yesterday, please give feed back as to how their injury is now – either through your team mentor or directly to me.
We would like to thank St Brigids GAA for giving us the complete run of the club throughout the whole day.
We would also like to thank Meath and Kildare who travelled to our blitz with intercounty teams and also thank Good Counsel, Lucan Sarsfields and St Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh who entered teams at very short notice when the Cork and Westmeath couldn’t travel.
Many thanks to all parents who came forward and helped out in various ways throughout the day, be it with providing sandwiches, tea/coffee, scorekeeping, umpire etc. These are all important background jobs that need to be done and we would encourage all parents to remain involved in the future.
There will be no training session next Sunday 9th May as it is ‘Lá na gClub’ day, nor the following Sunday 16th as it is the ‘Féile’ weekend.
Details of next training session to follow as soon as date/details have been confirmed.
