Trials for Dublin U-15  School of Excellence for the 2018 season. 

Please read carefully the criteria set out below when nominating a player.

                                                  Nominations for U15 Schools of Excellence and Trials.

Dublin Camogie invites nominations from clubs, for players to attend trials for the 2018 Dublin U15 Camogie Development panel. To be eligible to be considered for the U15 Development panel, players must be registered members of a club and be under 15 years of age on the 1st of January 2018 (born 2003).

As the U15 Development Squad is being reduced to a single squad in 2018. Clubs are requested to send only One player for the U15 School of Excellence and Trials. Please note All players who were part of the U14 Development Squad in the latter stage of 2017 will automatically be invited to attend the School of excellence, and this One player is additional to the current year squad.

We ask clubs to consider carefully the talents and attributes of those players they are considering nominating for the Squad. Please only send forward players who possess the attributes, commitment and dedication required to make an Inter County A panel. Your club mentors must only send forward for trial players whom they deem to have a realistic chance of being in the final 25 in the County and capable of competing against the best in Ireland. Nominating a player who is not near the standard to make the final panel will only prove to be very disheartening and discouraging for the young player in question. We are appealing to mentors not to view county trials as a mechanism to "reward" players.

The School of Excellence will commence the second week of January and will carry on for four weeks. The Final 2018 U15 Development Squad shall be named prior to the 14 February.

Nominations shall only be accepted from club secretaries or nominated point of contact. The deadline for submissions is Friday 22nd.December at 5pm todublincamogie2003@gmail.com. Please include Players Name, Date of Birth, preferred playing position and Parental/Guardian contact details. Club Secretaries will receive notifications regarding times and locations of all individual sessions.
