St Marks Intermediate camogie team travelled in great numbers last week-end to Eglish Co Tyrone to present a cheque to the Cormac Trust.  The money came from the proceeds of the fundraising event held in memory of Ellen Minihan, the team's goalkeeper who died suddenly.

Erika Hoare reports "Our final total from our memorial night for our late friend & Goalkeeper, Ellen Minihan, was €11,670. The night in July held in our GAA club was a huge success with over 500 people in attendance and over 800 tickets sold.  The night was in aid of the Cormac Trust for Sudden Cardiac Death which was set up by the parents of the late Tyrone Captain Cormac McAnallen who passed away in 2004 aged 24 Sudden Cardiac Death.

On Saturday 7th of November we travelled to Tyrone to present the cheque to the McAnallen family and to play a friendly match against the Eglish Senior Camogie team, which is the club that Cormac played for. A great night was had by all.

We just want to thank all of those who supported our Memorial night for Ellen & The Cormac trust in July and to inform them of the final amount raised."
