Seniors on Sunday

(25 May 2015)

Dublin Camogie's senior players and management devoted Sunday to Camogie and related activities.

An early start saw them in St. Patrick's Church, Glencullen, for a private Mass for the group at 8am. Readings, music etc. was organised by the players. This was followed by a training session with Dublin Senior hurler and the team's Ambassador Danny Sutcliffe in Stars of Erin grounds with the Dublin Mountains forming a spectacular background. When this training session was finished it was off to Bray Emmets for an energenic team building session. This was followed by an hour and a half session at Jumpzone, Sandyford, which the players thoroughly enjoyed.

Nourishment was required and Johnny Foxes in Glencullen was just the place to be. After the meal everyone participated in a walk in the Dublin mountains. A  tough day, a great bonding day and a very worthwhile day - congratulations to everyone.

All thoughts are firmly focussed on Saturday, 20 June when Dublin host last year's All Ireland finalists, Kilkenny, in the first game of this year's Liberty All Ireland championship.
