In a breathtaking under 18 Leinster final Dublin and Kilkenny served up a thrillling display of all that is good in Camogie. Congrats to both sets of players and mentors. Final score Dublin 2-10 Kilkenny 3-07. Replay in the capital next weekend - venue and time to be confirmed.

Dublin draw with Kilkenny in Leinster Minor Championship Final
Dublin 2 – 10 - Kilkenny 3 – 7
A draw was the result at the final whistle which means that the Leinster champions will not be crowned until next weekend at a Dublin venue (yet to be confirmed).
The lead changed hands many times during the match. Kilkenny looked to be heading for victory when they led by six points mid-way through the second half. It was then that the Dublin girls dug deep and clawed their way back into the match, and drew level when Ciara Berkley drove a late penalty to the Kilkenny net.
Both teams failed to convert potential scores throughout the match but battled hard and produced a wonderful game of Camogie for late November. Grace Walsh showed great composure and skill playing at centre back for Kilkenny, while Orla Durkan worked tirelessly for Dublin at mid-field.
If next weekend’s replay is played with the same heart and hunger as shown by both teams today, Camogie will be the winner.
The Dublin management team believe that today’s great performance will give the Dublin girls the confidence to push on and bring the Leinster title back to Dublin after many barren years at this level.
