The County Board wishes to express its sincere thanks to St Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh for allowing us to stage two Summer Cup finals at their club house this evening. (Thursday 24th June.). This arose because the camogie pitches in the Phoenix Park were deemed unplayable because of Deer droppings on parts of the pitches.
Sincere appreciation to Tommy McManus and Barbara Grennell for allowing us the use of both OPER pitches when the “SOS” went out earlier this morning. The County Board is indebted to the club for their generosity and co-operation and this has allowed the County Board to complete it’s Summer Cup fixtures on time and without discommoding the four finalists taking part.
