Further to the Board Meeting on Monday night please note the following important information
All clubs must be registered on the new online system by next Monday evening(Easter Monday) at the latest. This is to allow us to check that you have registered all your players/mentors/officials correctly.
If you do not register online you will not be able to take part in any competitions/matches from 1 May. Your players will not be able to play club or county. This is the rule under the TO and will be strictly enforced by Croke Park, Leinster Council and the Dublin County Board as we have to abide by the governing rules of the Camogie Association. As at last Monday only 17 clubs had registered so clubs who have not registered please treat this now as a matter of URGENCY.
As stated at the meeting there is at least one person in every club who has completed this system for the GAA registerations. Please contact this person and it only takes a short time to sit down and learn how to use the system.
It was also noted from a check of the registrations that not all clubs appear to be registering Mentors. It is assumed that there are at least 2 mentors with each team and they must be registered members of the Camogie Association. If they are not they are not entitled to sign the team sheets.
If you have an A and B team in the same age group you must go online after you register the players and create teams into which you must place your A players with the A team and your B players with the B team.This also applies in the case where you have more that one adult team.
