The camogie and ladies football season for 2011 got underway at a windy but relatively mild Kilmacud Crokes with the 2nd Annual OZO Dub Stars games.
The camogie game was a very tight encounter and at the end the honours were shared on a scoreline of OZO Dub Stars 1 - 9 Dublin 1 - 9.
A lively Ciara Burgess won the Player of the Match Award.
Camogie Association Joan O'Flynn presented the cup jointly to captains Catriona Power (Dublin) and Louise O'Hara (OZO Dub Stars).
In the football game, the All-Ireland championship had a bit to spare winning by 3 - 6 to 0 - 6 over the OZO Dub Stars marking a winning debut for manager Tommy Brown.
Lyndsey Davey was the Player of the Match.
Pat Quill, President of Cumann Peil Gael na mBan made the presentation after the game.
A special presentation was made on behalf of the Camogie Board by Brendan Cooper to Maureen King, Chair of the Dublin Ladies Football Board to mark Dublin's first All-Ireland Senior title win in 2010.
