Clubs wishing to enter this year’s Minor Championships should do so by Sunday 8th Oct. It is hoped to run 4 divisions of this competition depending on the number of entries. Ratification of these divisions will take place at Monday's Board meeting. The County Board will commence most Minor championships during the 3rd week in Oct, the exception being players from clubs involved in Sen 6 & 7 adult championships, the finals of which are scheduled for Sunday 22nd Oct. It is the intention of the Board to conclude all Minor championships by the end of November, leaving the months of Dec/Jan as the "closed season".
Traditionally, I know that clubs don't like playing on the Bank Holiday weekend, so I will bear this in mind when championships are being scheduled.
Those clubs interested in entering a Minor Championship should notify the undersigned by Sunday 8th Oct stating which division you wish to participate.
