Juvenile Finals - Note from Brendan Cooper

(15 Oct 2009)

Nh Brid GAA – Navan Road.

Sat 17th  and Sun 18th Oct 2009.

On behalf of the County Board I would like to wish all teams participating in this weekend’s championship finals the very best of luck.  I would also take this opportunity of thanking Nh Brid most sincerely for allowing the County Board full use of their facilities over the coming weekend.  Ken Nyhan ( Camogie Chairman ) and his committee along with Nh Brid Executive are to be congratulated for offering their facilities at a time when club pitches are in huge demand from club members.

The County Board will expect that all mentors will ensure that those under their charge treat Nh Brid Club House and surrounding pitches with respect at all times.

At last Monday’s Board meeting Nh Brid pointed out a number of issues which will be of particular importance to all those attending over the weekend.

  1. Because of work on the Castleknock Gates traffic in the area can be heavy at certain times of the day even on the weekends.  Please allow sufficient travelling time.
  2.   When the Nh Brid car park is full, cars may park on the road way leading into the Club, and mentors should allow sufficient time and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled start time..

We hope that all those attending Nh Brid enjoy themselves, “win lose or draw.”  It is very important that all games are played in a competitive and sporting manner as these games are our “show case” for the juvenile season.

Regards

Brendan
