Well done to the 9 players, Kate Whyte (Lucan Sarsfields), Elaine Gallery (Portobello), Emma Mc Inerney (Na Fianna), Emma Whyte (Good Counsel),  Faye McCarthy (Naomh Jude, Claire Graham (Cumann  Báire Chaoimhín), Dee Johnston (Naomh Uinsionn) and Leanne Walsh (Naomhh Mearnóg) who took part in this evening's Poc Fada competition run in conjunction with Dublin GAA in glorious sunshine at Beann Eadair club. What a seting Beann Eadair proved to be with a mixture of terrain -  pitches, golf course, wilderness and glorious views..

At the end of a very enjoyable competitive and close competition Dublin goalkeepers came out on top.

Congratulations to Faye McCarthy (Naomh Jude) who finished ahead of the field on 17 pucks. Fay is the Dublin Minor gaolkeeper. Faye now goes on to represent Dublin in the Leinster Poc Fada competition which will on Wednesday 11 July, a.lso be held at Beann Eadair.

Following close behind in second place was Dublin's Senior goalkeeper, Kate Whyte (Lucan Sarsfields). Best of luck to Kate who will be in action on Saturday when Dublin take on Kilkenny in the first group game of this year's Senior All Ireland Championship at Parnell Park at 2.30pm.
