(19 Oct 2009)

The County Board wishes to congratulate all those who participated in last weekends Juvenile finals held in Naomh Bríd GAA. and special thanks must go to Naomh Bríd for ensuring that everything went according to plan.

In total 12 finals were decided and Naomh Bríd are to be congratulated for the manner in which these finals were staged.  This was a real team effort by Naomh Bríd  and the County Board would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the following, Catherine Quinlan, Kevin Elliot, Anne Ní Mhurchú, Joanne Bruen, Aoibheann Ní Shúilleabháin ( Naomh Bríd Camogie Sec.), Ken Nyhan ( Chairman Juv section Naomh Bríd), Sinead Deevy, Aoife Ní Mhurchú, Siobhan Cahill, Carolyn Elliot, Aine O’Murchu, Laura Skehan and last but certainly not least Aodh Ó Murchú.

Catering for 24 teams over a two day period was a huge undertaking but all of the above Naomh Bríd  members ensured that everything went according to plan from dressing rooms, pitch set up, to parking facilities and not forgetting the shop which Naomh Bríd had on site throughout the whole weekend.

To all those in Naomh Bríd a huge thank you from the Dublin County Board for an exceptional job.  In addition the CountyBoard are most grateful to the Executive of Naomh Bríd for allowing us the use of their superb facilities for the entire weekend and it is worth noting that the Camogie Board had full use of Naomh Bríd's brand new dressing rooms which were only opened for the first time over the weekend.
