Soaring Star Sarah Ann Fitzgerald showed her class as the Laois centre-forward gave an outstanding display in her side's 3-12 to 3-4 victory over a battling Dublin. The Camross girl scored 1-10 (0-7f) and was simply inspirational with a hand in the other two Laois goals.
Dublin took the lead with a brace of their own from Elaine Gallery six minutes into the second half but they could not push on and failed to score for the remainder of the game.
