Dublin Post Primary Camogie Senior Finals a great success

Congratulations to Ciarán, Dave and all the teachers involved in today's Dublin Post Primary Senior Finals played at Clanna na nGael grounds in Ringsend. Kate Whyte (Lucan Sarsfields and Dublin Senior panalist) and Pat Martin, Chair of Dublin Camogie, shared the honour of presenting the cups and shields to the victorious teams.

Senior A final: In an excellent Senior A final St. Joseph's College, Lucan snatched victory from an exciting Our Lady's Templeogue team. Great Lucan defence combinedp with missed chances from the Templeogue girls gave the Lucan side a narrow 2 point win. Final score St. Josephs 3-05 Our Lady's 2-06. 

Senior A Shield final: St. Dominics defeated Loreto Beaufort in another thrilling final - a norrow one point win here.

Senior B final: Dunshaughlin Community School had a decisive win over a gallant Scoil Mhuire Clane side.

Senior B Shield: St. Mac Daras proved too strong for St. Colmcilles in the Senior B Shield final.

Senior C final:  Holy Faith, Clontarf were defeated by  Loreto Balbriggan in the first of today's finals.

The Senior A Cup was first presented in 1917 - 99 years ago!
