Dublin Camogie Notes – Monday April 9th 2018

Littlewoods Ireland Division 2 National League

The Dublin Division 2 team reached the Littlewoods Ireland National League Semi Final after an impressive win over Armagh at the National Sports Campus, Abbotstown on Sunday. Final score Dublin 3.15 v Armagh 2.08

Leinster U.16 Championship

The Dublin U.16 A team will play Offaly at home on Saturday 14th April, While the U.16B team are due to play in the Leinster Semi Final on Sunday 15th April away to Laois. Venues will be confirmed ASAP

We Are Dublin Adult Club Leagues

The 2018 Adult Leagues began last week, however many were postponed due to pitches being flooded. All information on www.dublincamogie.ie

Annual Congress

The annual Camogie Congress was held at Mount Juliet last Fri/Sat.

Armagh native Kathleen Woods was named as the new president of the Camogie Association, taking over from Catherine Neary (Kilkenny).

More than 30 motions were considered at Congress, one of which was a proposal from Clare to replace 'skorts' with shorts. This was overwhelmingly defeated by 77 votes to 12.

Dublin Camogie Annual Table Quiz

The annual Table quiz will take place in Faughs GAA on Friday April 20th at 8pm. Table of 4 is €20. Raffle and spot prizes on the night
