Dublin Camogie Notes - Monday February 19th 2018
Littlewoods Ireland Senior 1 National League
The Dublin Seniors travelled to WIT on Sunday 18th Feb and were overcome by Waterford in the Senior 1 Round 4 of the Littlewoods Ireland National League by a score line of 1.14 to 1.07.
The next outing is at home to Clare next Saturday 24/02/18, Venue TBC but most likely Parnells GAA.
The National Anthem will be sung by a young Camogie
player on the day.
Littlewoods Ireland Senior 2 National League
The Dublin Div 2 team got off to a great start in their Littlewoods Ireland National League campaign with a win over Tipperary at the Ragg on Sunday with a score line of 1.08 to 0.10.

Minor Championship
The Dublin Minors were taken by Cork at Parnells GAA, 0.04 to 1.12 in the 1st round of the Championship on Sunday 18/02/18

Information for Coaches
Ard Chomhairle at its November 2017 meeting decided that all coaches involved with underage teams/players must have a basic coaching qualification course (Foundation level).
An underage player or team refers to those who are aged under 18.
The Foundation level coaching qualification refers to either a Camogie Association Foundation Accreditation or a GAA Hurling Foundation Accreditation only.
If your club would like to host a Foundation level, or indeed a level 1 course, please let Brendan Cooper ( secretary.dublin@camogie.ie ) know and we will link up with Niall Williams at the Camogie Association.

Go Games Mentors meeting on Monday 26/2/18 & Monday 5/3/18 Details to follow. Juv fixtures (13-16) to start on 24/25th. Feb. Go Games to commence on 10/11th. March.
Camogie Legends Tournament 2018
The Legends Annual Competition will take place on Saturday March 3rd in Na Fianna Dublin.
There will be a Cup and Shield Competition.
Players must be 35 or older to participate.
12 players per county panel.
Dublin won the Legends last year in a very competitive competition. If you would like to nominate a player to take part in this competition please contact Brendan Cooper, secretary.dublin@camogie.ie
Referees Course
Dublin County Board are running a Referees Course on Thursday 1st March in Good Counsel GAA at 7pm. This course is for 15 year olds and older.
