Developing the Female Athlete Workshop

  • This workshop aims to give coaches an introduction to Athlete & Player development in females. The basics in which to help coaches familiarise themselves with long term athlete/player development appropriate for females and developing the overall athlete based on playing the game of Camogie.
  • Martin Kennedy is the founder and CEO of NADA, the National Athlete Development Academy, Both he and his colleagues on the NADA Team work as player and athlete development coaches and consultants to both team sport and individual athletes, from developmental through to elite level in Irish sport. Martin is a qualified sports scientist and an athlete development coach who has worked with developmental, senior and elite level athletes in a variety of different sports including: Gaelic Football, Hurling, Rugby, Netball, Athletics, Golf, Australian Rules Football and Basketball.
     
  • Practical and theory session included in the workshop.
