Death Notice

The death has occurred of Josephine Moynihan, mother of Mairi, former Dublin senior Camogie player.

May she rest in peace.

MOYNIHAN (née Flynn), (Lucan, Co. Dublin, formerly of Dunhill, Co. Waterford, ex. nursing staff at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin and Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown and S.N.A at Adamstown Community College, Lucan) October 24th 2019 (suddenly but peacefully) Josephine, beloved wife of James, much loved mother of Shane, Páidí and Marie and a devoted grandmother to Diarmuid. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, daughters-in-law Teresa and Andrea, grandson, sisters Margaret and Alice, brothers James and Patrick, brothers-in-law, aunt, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Lucan on Thursday evening (Oct 31st) from 2.00pm followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Esker arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral after 11.00am Mass on Friday morning (Nov 1st) to Newcastle Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul.
