Annual Convention was held in Naomh Peregrine on Saturday, 26th November. This well attended Convention was very successful. All reports of the year's activities on and off the field were read, discussed and approved. All positions on the incoming Executive were filled. An Treoraí Oifigiúil which came into effect during 2011 is a comprehensive, clear and concise compilation of the current rules of the Association. In view of this all of Dublin's existing bye-laws were rescinded and replaced with nine new bye-laws. After much discussion and clarification the new format for Leagues and Championships, presented by the Development Committee and agreed at last year's Convention, was sanctioned and will be in place for the 2012 season. All recommendations were discussed and voted upon. The ongoing outstanding voluntary work of all club and county officers and team mentors was acknowledged and appreciated. We also remembered those who passed away during the year. Ar dheis Dé go raibh siad.
