• Congratulations to everyone involved with this year’s Camogie and Ladies Football Dub Stars which took place on 27 December in Naomh Brid. Two good games were followed by lunch and presentations. This was a great sporting and social occasion with both Associations working together to provide players of both codes with a suitable stage to display their undoubted skills. Congratulations to the players and administrators of both Associations. Our thanks to Brendan Cooper and Gerry O'Sullivan for all their preparatory work. Well done to Naomh Brid for their brilliant hosting and organisation of this event.
• Juvenile Presentations will be held in Lucan Sarsfields on Sunday, 8 January, 2012. Juvenile Players of the Year will be announced at this event. Detailed times etc. later in the week.
• The first County Board Meeting of the New Year will be on Monday, 30 January in Parnell Park. All regrading requests, transfer requests and registrations must be submitted at this meeting. For regrading requests please note that any adult player who played at a grade higher than her registered grade in Championship will require regarding.
• Don’t forget to get your copy the Dublin Year Book – a must for every Dublin Camogie and GAA follower in the capital. If you missed it for Christmas get it now and start the New Year with a great read. There are lots of Camogie-related articles and photos, features on Ciara Burgess and Brigid Keogh.
