Liberty Insurance Senior Championship: Dublin lost to Kilkenny 1-10 to 3-13 Parnell Park on Sunday in the first game of this year's Liberty Insurance Senior championship Group 2. But this Dublin performance, a much improved improvement on last year, suggests that players and management will look forward with confidence to the remaining games in Group 2 against Clare, Tipperary and Derry with their eyes firmly set on a semi-final spot. Their next game is on Saturday 4 July v Tipperary at a Dublin venue.

Liberty Insurance Premier Junior Championship: Best of luck to the Premier Juniors who open their All Ireland campaign v Laois on Saturday 4 July – Dublin venue on Saturday 4 July.

Liberty Insurance Double header: Dublin’s Senior and Premier Junior championship games will be a double header played at the same Dublin venue on Saturday, 4 July. Venue and times TBC.

Under 16 All Ireland championships - Under 16A: Dublin v Limerick on Sunday 5 July at a Dublin venue. Under 16B: away to Clare on Sunday 12 July. Venue and time details TBC.

Paul Beecher Cup under 14 intercounty competition: This under 14 intercounty competition takes place in Naomh Mearnóg on Saturday, 11 July.  This is a great competition with 32 teams from 12 counties participating. More details later.

Mini games in Parnell Park: Our thanks to the young players and officials from Naomh Fionnbarra, Na Fianna, Cuala, Naomh Uinsionn and Lucan Sarsfields who took part in the mini-games at half time during the Dublin v Kilkenny senior championship game.

Féile Weekend: Congratulations to Cuala who won the divisional Féile in Galway and to all the Dublin teams who took part in Féile weekend in Ulster, in Galway, in Thurles, in Kilkenny and Portlaoise and in Crumlin.

Adult Poc Fada Champion: Congratulations to Faye McCarthy (Naomh Jude) who won this year’s Senior Poc Fada competition and to Kate Whyte (Lucan Sarsfields) who was a close second. Leinster Poc Fada competition which will also be held on the Hill of Howth on Saturday 11 July. Our thanks to the organisers and to Beann Eadair for the excellent hosting of this event.

Under 16 Poc Fada competition is taking place this Thursday evening 25 June on the Hill of Howth in conjunction with Dublin GAA. Participants should arrive at Beann Eadair at 6.30. £ members should accompany each competitor. Competition starts at 7.00pm. The winner will represent Dublin in the Leinster Poc Fada competition.

Summer Cup competition: Summer Cup competitions starts this week on Tuesday and Thursday 23/25 June.

Championship draws: The draw for the adult Championships will be made at the next County Board meeting on Monday, 13 July in Parnell Park.

Summer Camps: Rising Stars Summer Camp: Dublin Camogie 3 day Summer Camp for 8-12 year olds.  Dates: 22/24.
