Co. Board Meeting: County Board meeting will take place on  this evening Monday 11th May at 7pm in Parnell Park – Minor Board at 7pm and County Board at 7.45pm

Intercounty: Leinster Intermediate Championship: Tough luck on the Premier Junior team who were beaten 6-10 to 0-13 by Kilkenny in the Leinster Intermediate championship at St. David’s CBS, Artane, on Sunday. The girls can now regroup and look forward to the Premier Junior All Ireland Championship.

 

Intercounty: Leinster Senior Championship: Best of luck to the Dublin Senior team and management who take on Offaly in the Leinster Senior Championship semi-final this coming Sunday, 17 May. Offaly defeated Wexford in the quarter-final. Semi-finals details TBC. Check www.dublincamogie.ie

 

Minor B final: Congratulations to the girls from Whitehall Colmcilles on their one point win in the Minor B final when defeating a much fancied Na Fianna 1-04 to 0-06 on Sunday. Well done girls.

 

Poc Fada: under 16 and Adult Poc Fada will be run on a county, provincial and All Ireland levels with the Poc Fada All Ireland finals taking part in the Cooley Mountains. The under 14 Poc Fada will be run on a county basis with the winner going forward to Leinster0nly. There will be no All Ireland final for the under 14 age group. Each club is encouraged to hold its own Poc Fada competition at under 14, under 16 and Adult level. Leinster Camogie Council hold their provincial Poc Fada competitions on 6 June. Dublin will announce details of its competitions within the next few days.

 

We are Dublin Adult Leagues: Round 6 of the adult leagues continue this week. Divisions 1, 2, 6 and 7 continue on Tuesday, 12 May while Divisions 3, 4 and 5 will continue on Thursday 14 May. Throw in is 7.30pm for all games. Check www.dublin camogie.ie/fixtures/results for all juvenile and adult league fixtures and results.

 

Dublin Juvenile Leagues: Exciting games each week in the Juvenile Leagues from under 13 to 16 age groups. In under 16 Div 1 Castleknock now top the table on 10 points with Good Counsel and Lucan Sarsfields on 8 points. The latter have a game in hand. Check www.dublincamogie.ie/fixtures/results for all juvenile and adult league fixtures and results. There are well over 50 underage league games each week.

 

Camogie Association - Congress 2015 ratified a number of new rules and amendments to the Camogie Playing Rules which came into effect on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015. Camogie games may be played on a full size synthetic pitch where available. A player may hand pass the sliotar to score. Advantage Rule:  Allow five seconds after foul has been committed. U15 Development Squad: The under 15 Development Squad travelled with two teams to The Ragg, Tipperary on May Bank Holiday Monday May 4th. In sunny but breezy conditions both teams played extremely well coming away with two great wins. Match 1: Tipperary 1-1 Dublin 7-8.  Match 2: Tipperary 2-3 Dublin 7-10.  Dublin's forwards caused all kinds of problems for the Tipperary defence in both matches. Long may it continue this way! Well done to the girls and the mentors. Dedication on a Bank Holiday!
