County Board meeting: County Board meeting takes place this evening Monday 14th November in Parnell Park. Minor Board at 7pm and County Board meeting at 7.45pm

Heartbreak for Vincents in Leinster Senior finals: Tough luck on St. Vincents in this year’s Leinster Senior final in Parnell Park on Sunday. Vincents were in front for most of the game but a late Thomastown gaol in injury time gave the Kilkenny girls a 1-7 to 0-8 victory.

Media Awards: Our media partners We are Dublin held their inaugural awards night on Friday 11th November in Kennedy’s Pub, Drumcondra. This, to the best of our knowledge, was an unique occasion in that it is the only occasion where players in all 4 codes (Football, Hurling, Ladies Football & Camogie) were honoured at the one event. Well done Nigel and Noel.

We are Dublin Inaugural Award winners 2016. Young Players of the Year: Leah Butler Camogie) Eoghan O’Donnell (Hurling) Laura Magee (Ladies Football) and David Bryne (Football). Players of the Year: Aisling Carolan (Camogie), David Tracy (Hurling), Sinead Aherne (Ladies Football) and Dean Rock (Football)

Annual Convention 2016: This year’s convention will take place on Monday 5th November in Parnell Park. Registration at 7pm. Relevant details, nomination papers etc. have been sent to clubs. Please return proposals etc. in time. If you are nominating someone for a position on the Executive Committee please check with them that they are willing to serve on the Executive Committee.

Minor championships: Minor championship continues this coming weekend. Check website for fixtures and results.

Camogie Association Grant - Battle of the Schools: This is a good opportunity for clubs to get some schools camogie activity going over the winter months and recruit girls for 2017. Grants will be announced week beginning Monday 14th November. Check for further details.
