Brothers Pearse Camogie Club in London (BPCC), are currently recruiting new players for 2011. I would be grateful if you could pass the below contact details to your Club Secretaries should they have any players who may be relocating to London and may be interested in playing with us.
We have players of all levels and abilities within our club and we participate in both senior and junior championship and leagues as well as an underage team. Many of our players have participated at county level both at home and in London over the years. Alternatively, we are also keen to recruit new, non-playing members so if any girls are relocating and would like to get involved even if they have not played before we have roles within the committee where they they would be very welcome.
Playing with BPCC not only offers the opportunity of being a member of one of the most successful clubs in London, it also offers the girls support whilst living away from home. We are a close knit club which has enabled the girls to create a network around work, social life and accommodation. We have many professions as well as students within our club, in particular nurses and teachers and we believe that getting involved with our club can help ease the pressure of living away from home. We also have strong links with a number of hurling and ladies Gaelic clubs in London, again offering the opportunity of a much wider network within London.
We would greatly appreciate if you could forward this email to the clubs within your county as we would be delighted to welcome new members as well as offer help and support where we can as they venture to university, college or employment, something which many of us have experienced and could not have done without when moving to London.
