A total of 26 clubs will travel to Dublin this Sunday to take part in An Cumann Camogaiochta’s Club Twinning Initiative. Dublin clubs will host teams from as far as Antrim right down to Cork. The initiative was first rolled out at the All-Ireland Camogie Semi Finals back in August in Kilkenny and due to its success and feedback from clubs it was decided to continue for the Camogie Association’s biggest calendar event of the year the All-Ireland Camogie Finals.
Dublin will host the All Ireland Feile next year so the club twinning is specifically aimed at the U13 age group in preparation for this. However U16 and adult teams will also travel to take part in the twinning initiative. Most clubs will then head along to the Finals in Croke Park for an action packed day with Junior, Intermediate and Senior finals all taking place.
