A message from the Féile Committee

(27 Apr 2018)

Good Morning

Feile fever is definitely in the air today, so some final reminders to ensure that all the children have an enjoyable weekend to remember.

The lead mentor from each team must check in on arrival with the Feile official at each venue at least 1 hour prior to your first scheduled game.

Players must be ready to play 10 mins prior to the match and take to the field as soon as the previous match finishes on the pitch.

Please co-operate with the referees and feile officials to keep to schedule.

Each team must produce 2 x CC2 forms with all players listed on it. Blank CC2 forms attached.

Programs will be available from the Feile official on arrival.

Each team was asked to list 3 mentors, 1 First Aid and 1 Water Carrier on the registration sheet.

These 5 people are the only adults permitted to stand on the side-lines and they MUST ALL WEAR A BIB.

Players must wear full camogie club uniforms – skorts must ONLY be worn – any girl wearing shorts will not be permitted to play.

The national feile Substitution rule is in use.

10 mins into the 1st half the referee will stop the game and 2 subs must be introduced and remain on for the remainder of the game.

5 mins in to the 2nd have again the same.

For matches that are 20 mins long – the exact same timings apply.

Any injuries must be notified to the referee and the Feile Official.

In the event of a team only having 15 players available – due to injuries – and the opposition has more than 15, the opposition  must still observe the subs rules and play any available players at the 10 mins & 5 mins stoppage.

The THDC (Transfer, Hearing and Disciplinary Committee) are on stand bye on Saturday evening in St Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh to facilitate a meeting should any issues arise throughout Saturday.
