Lucan Sarsfields 7 June
Lucan Sarsfields GAA club operates in a socially diverse urban landscape. The new Adamstown area has three new primary schools and a secondary school with multi-ethnic populations. This inter-cultural initiative sponsored by An Cumann Camogaíochta on Tuesday 7th June 2011 is part of a continuous stream of camogie initiatives from this progressive and inclusive club and from dedicated teachers and GPOs in the Adamstown schools. Lucan and Adamstown will reap massive community, cultural and camogie benefits in the years ahead. Camogie is now starting to make serious inroads in urban areas where the game is cool again. Lucan Sarsfields will leave no stone unturned in remaining at the forefront of that effort.
Well done to Lucan Sarsfields on organising this initiative and good luck to them in Tuesday's event.
